Posting Guidelines
Treat this community with the same respect you would show in a shared public space. These are not strict rules, but guidelines to help maintain a respectful and engaging environment.
- Show Kindness. Respect others, avoid harassment or griefing, impersonation, or exposing private information. Do not post content meant to scam or deceive other members.
- Maintain Civility. Avoid discriminatory, abusive, or hateful content. When disagreeing with others, critique ideas instead of individuals—steer clear of name-calling, personal attacks, harassment, or confrontational behavior.
- Keep It Appropriate. Avoid posting overly violent or sexually explicit content.
- Respect the Space. Refrain from posting spam or vandalizing the forum.
- Share Authorized Content Only. Do not share content you do not have the rights to distribute.
- Follow the Law. Do not participate in or encourage illegal activities within the community.
- If a discussion violates these guidelines, moderators may take action, including temporarily closing the discussion, posting a warning, or messaging the offender.
- NO ADVERTISING. You are free to post your social links in your user profile, but do not post these links in your posts.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the removal of your content and/or a temporary or permanent ban.
Note: Any content you publish, such as a post, can be read by anyone with access to the Sierra Division Community Forum. Ensure you remove any sensitive information, like IDs or credentials, before publishing.
See an Issue? Flag It!
Moderators are here to help, but they can’t be everywhere at once—if you see someone breaking the rules, flag it! When a post receives enough flags, action will be taken, either automatically or by moderator intervention.
To maintain our community, moderators reserve the right to remove any content and any user account for any reason at any time.
- Offensive or abusive language, as well as any kind of hate speech
- Posts intended to harass, impersonate, or defame others
- Unnecessary deletion of posted content
- Attempts to abuse or expose the private information of others
- Obscene or sexually explicit content
- Spam, phishing posts, and any actions intended to deface this site
- Obfuscating a link's true destination, for example with the use of link shorteners
- Discussion of software piracy and similar topics
All the above are grounds for moderator action. If you have an issue with another member, we ask that you please don't confront them yourself. Please use the Flag option on the post in question, then leave it up to the staff to handle the situation.
