Hi everyone,
I really liked the theme of the challenge so why not give it a try!
From what I've seen of Himalayan cultures, the painted masks are my favorite.
These are wooden or papier-mΓ’chΓ© masks rather used to represent saints or in general positive figures. This would be a heritage of tribal culture which would now be found in Tibet
I would like to reverse that, and create a mask hidden from everyone, representing greed, the emotion that will devour the world.
From what I have read the yellow on the masks represent immortal saints and the green represents virtue/wisdom. I'm therefore thinking of opting for a rather purple mask (with a little yellow possibly for the immortal side), distorted by greed.
Obviously you will need a bit of precious stone like Tibetan turquoise!
Maybe I will also make his box which hides him from the eyes of the world. IF time permits haha
